In order to be eligible, companies had to employ fewer than 25 full-time employees, operate a for-profit business for at least three years and be located in the Kansas City metro area.

According to Thinking Bigger, the honorees will be profiled in the February issue of Thinking Bigger Business magazine and are invited to be guests on the Smart Companies radio show. The events culminate in the 25 Under 25® Dinner & Gala to be held on March 8, 2014, which features a cocktail reception, Wall of Fame, dinner and awards presentation and a live band.
