Two $10,000 Prizes Available for Entrepreneurs Who Enter the 2nd Annual Irvine Entrepreneur Forum Event

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - September 21, 2010) -  

WHAT:   The 2ND annual Irvine Entrepreneur Forum (IEF) is now open to accepting applications. The IEF is the premier event in the area that will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch to angel and venture capital investors on February 28, 2011.
     
    As part of the IEF, there will be two competitions, each with a winning prize of $10,000. The prizes will be awarded to the best overall business plan as well as to the best business plan received by an entrepreneur in the digital media industry. In addition, the winning entrepreneurs will receive a once in a lifetime chance to be educated in communicating their innovation to investors, and will be given the unique opportunity to make pitch presentations to a panel of angel and venture capital investors.
     
    Applications are being accepted from entrepreneurs in a start-up or second-stage phase.
     
WHEN:   The deadline to submit business proposals for consideration is November 30, 2010.

The Irvine Entrepreneur Forum (IEF) was established by the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and was made possible by the OC Workforce Investment Board to bring together local entrepreneurs with angel, venture and private equity investors.
