The funding, which totals $419,675, has been awarded through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program (QEDP) in the form of repayable financial contributions of $212,675 for Ampère-Proto Inc. and another of $207,000 for Total Fabrication Inc.

Quick facts

  • The contribution to Ampère-Proto Inc. will enable the company, which specializes in prototyping, assembly and inspection of printed circuit boards, electronic modules and control panels, to set up its new plant and furnish it with specialized equipment, including an automated welding machine and an oscilloscope.
  • The support provided to Total Fabrication Inc., a firm which designs and manufactures biodegradable cleaning and sanitary products, will enable it to purchase a variety of production equipment such as an automated bottling line, a bagging machine and an automated sealing/packaging machine.
