Two Lachute Companies Receive Financial Support from Government of Canada

LACHUTE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 20, 2014) - Canada Economic Development

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Tony Clement, President of the Treasury Board, announces that two Lachute enterprises have been granted financial assistance to support their growth.

This assistance, which totals $975,000, has been awarded under Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program, in the form of repayable contributions of $525,000 for Les Portes A.R.D. Inc. and $450,000 for Vizusolution Inc.

Quick facts

• This investment enabled Les Portes A.R.D. Inc. to purchase equipment, which should lead to increased production and productivity.
• Vizusolution Inc. will use the assistance to fund its start-up activities, more specifically, the acquisition of equipment.
• These two projects will generate an overall investment of more than $7 million in the Argenteuil RCM.
