Two New Executives Join Quorum Information Technologies Inc.

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 26, 2006) - As a result of the growing opportunities in the North American marketplace, and in order to respond effectively to the recent awarding of a General Motors' contract to provide Integrated Dealership Management Systems (IDMS) to GM Dealerships throughout North America, Quorum Information Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE:QIS) ("Quorum") has added two executives to its management team:

Dan Laplante has assumed the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Since 2001, Dan has served as an independent member of the Quorum Information Technologies Board and will continue to serve until a new Director has been appointed. Prior to 2006, Dan was the co-founder and President of Continental Oilfield Supply Canada, and has over 20 years of senior sales experience in oilfield companies. He currently serves as Chairman of the Legacy for Leadership Capital Campaign and previously served on the Board of Governors both at the University of Lethbridge. In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of Garneau Inc.(TSX, GAR). He is a recipient of the Globe and Mail's 2002 "Top 40 Under 40" award and is also one of the honoured Albertans who was awarded a 2005 Alberta Centennial Medal recognizing achievements benefiting community and province. Dan will be based in the Calgary corporate office.

Mark Allen has joined Quorum as the Director of OEM Solutions. He is Quorum's key liaison with General Motors for the GM IDMS contract. Mark has an extensive background with organizations such as General Motors and EDS, and was a founder, President and CEO of Playing Field Inc., an innovative start-up that established a new market model for application integration within automotive retail. Among Mark's senior management roles with EDS Automotive Retail Group (ARG) was responsibility for the ARG system delivered to Saturn retailers and GM dealers throughout the US marketplace. Mark will be based in Detroit, Michigan.
