Tyhee Announces Closing of Additional Tranche Non-Brokered Private Placement

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 2, 2012) -

Tyhee Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TDC) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, further to its news release of July 9, 2012, it has completed its final closing of its previously announced non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement"). In this closing, the Company issued 4,000,000 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.09 per Unit for gross proceeds of $360,000. Together with the previous closings of the Private Placement announced by the Company on April 17, 2012 and on May 24, 2012, an aggregate 19,719,209 units (the "Units") were sold for aggregate gross proceeds of $1,774,370.

The funds will be used to advance its Yellowknife Gold Project, an advanced stage wholly-owned gold project in the feasibility study and permitting stage, as well as for general corporate purposes.

All securities issued in this closing are subject to a four month hold period in Canada which expires November 13, 2012.
