Typhoon Reforests and Sows at Fayolle

LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwire - June 23, 2008) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. ("Typhoon") (TSX VENTURE:TOO) is very proud to announce the completion of a reforestation project at Aiguebelle in the Rouyn Noranda area the week of June 9, 2008.

The environmental and social responsibility has always been a priority for Typhoon. The Company is a member of E3 EXCELLENCE ENVIRONNEMENTAL EN EXPLORATION.

With the support of the governmental agencies and the regional people in charge, Typhoon also takes all the necessary precautions on all its projects to minimize the impact on the environment within the framework of its activities

Sustainable development for the well-being of the generations present and future is an integral part of the mandate that Typhoon has self-imparted.

David Mc Donald, the administrators, all the employees and consultants are very proud to announce that the company reforested an average of 15 trees for each drill hole carried out since it holds the Fayolle property (2004), which is the equivalent of 1769 of first grade trees, and to have sowed 5 hectares of grounds.

The Fayolle property is held by Typhoon at 100% and covers 26 km2 including 8 km on the prolific Porcupine Destor Fault.
