Tysons Dental Associates on Dental Implants & Sedation -- "Let's Talk Live" TV Show

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwired - Sep 17, 2014) - Dr. Alex Osinovsky and dental hygienist Anna Novikova from Tysons Dental Associates recently appeared on the "Let's Talk Live" show from News 8. The practice is based in Vienna, Virginia, and provides nearby residents with cosmetic and general dentistry services. The two experts discussed with their host why people do not need to be afraid of their dentist anymore; they also talked about new technologies and dental implants.

Dr. Osinovsky explained to viewers that implants are increasingly popular today and are the fastest growing segment of their practice. These implants are very reliable, look natural, and guaranteed to last for many years.

In the past, many people were concerned about the pain involved in getting dental implants, but the experts from Tysons Dental explained why patients no longer need to worry about this. The practice specializes in sedation dentistry. With this new technique, patients feel no pain, and remember nothing about the surgery. Novikova explained that their happiest patients are those who had sedation, because they had no discomfort at the time and no memories of the experience afterwards.

"We were one of the first five practices in Virginia licensed to do oral sedation," said Dr. Osinovsky. "The beauty of sedation is that you not only feel nothing, you also remember nothing."

Tysons Dental is also one of only a few clinics in the Washington area that is using the latest 3D technology. This iCat technology allows for more accurate diagnoses and superior precision during a dental surgery, making the process more effective. An added advantage of this technology is that it makes an immediate dental implant possible, where a tooth is removed and an implant installed on the same day.

Dr. Osinovsky earned a DDS from the University of Maryland, and a Doctor of Stomatology in the Ukraine. He is certified as a Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He teaches Implantology both in the US and internationally. Dr. Osinovsky volunteers his expertise and time each year through Donated Dental Services in Northern Virginia, as well as in Israel and Eastern Europe.

The practice has all specialists under one roof including periodontist, endodontist and general dentist professionals. This is a multilingual practice that provides services in 10 different languages.
