U-Be-Livin-Smart Launches Feed 88 Million Program in Canada to Fight Growing Prevalence of Food-Insecurity

Canadian, Nutrient-Dense Food Maker Unveils Unique Business Model for Food Donation

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Oct 24, 2013) - U-Be-Livin-Smart (UBLS), an innovative, new provider of healthy, affordable nutrient-dense food products, made public in Canada today its Feed 88 Million program. Underway since the company's inception, the program aims to feed 88 million undernourished, underprivileged people in North America over the next decade and has fed over 60,000 people since January.

U-Be-Livin-Smart began selling to retailers in January 2013, and is dedicated to delivering nutrient-dense, deliciously smart food. The company's "Karma"ffin products are nutrient-dense muffins that deliver nine grams of protein, one whole serving of fruits and vegetables, four grams of fiber and only 130 calories per muffin. The muffins are also gluten and nut-free, have no added oil, salt, sugar or additives and preservatives.

When asked to participate as the only Canadian Food Product in gift bags at the News and Documentary Emmy's held in New York City -- the company made its U.S. program public earlier this month and is now rolling out the program with ongoing donations in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Toronto.
