U Mining Resources Inc. Issues a Word From the President

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 16, 2008) - U Mining Resources Inc. (PINKSHEETS: UMNG) issues a public announcement from their Chief Executive Officer Rejean Morin:

Dear Shareholders,

Sometimes everyone sees the opportunities which exist. The new board which is now in control of acquisitions and mergers is pleased to announce that since its press release of December 10, 2008 various mining companies expressed their willingness to enter into partnerships with us. Many of our shareholders have already seen our possibilities and have expressed their thoughts and comments. As a public company we respect our shareholders and not dilute ourselves but rather show our progress in the mines we presently acquired. Our first partnership is one which will entail hard work, additional purchases of equipment and a strong increase on the labor front.

The progress which we have set forth is already in place and we foresee no major problems. Creating work and providing accurate information is essential for the growth of this company.

Lastly as a personal note I would like to wish all shareholders a Happy Holidays and thank you for a wonderful first quarter.

Happy Holidays,

Rejean Morin
