Cantu took the top spot in Event #17 of the 2010 Wynn Classic, a No Limit Hold'em Championship tournament and the final event of the series that kicked off on March 24th at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Cantu walked away with $363,844 after conquering a field of 262 players. The $5,000+160 buy-in poker tournament featured a total prize pool of $1,173,700.

This is Brandon Cantu's second major land-based win in less than one year. At last year's World Series of Poker, the Team UB pro won Event #48, a $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha 8 or Better event, besting a field of 762 players for $228,867.
