TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 24, 2012) - Ubika Research today initiated coverage on InterAmerican Gaming Inc. (OTCBB:IAGM), with an Undervalued stock rating and a Ubika Model Price of 18¢ (July 23, 2012 close: 5¢), citing the Company's development of a unique health and fitness app that blends together online and offline worlds and a highly experienced and proven management team and board.
"We are impressed with the Company's SoFit app that can bring together fitness enthusiasts and celebrities via social networking in live events to raise money for charities or otherwise," says Vikas Ranjan, Ubika's Managing Director and lead researcher of the initiating coverage report. "We believe IAGM's strategy of focusing on the constantly expanding social and mobile markets should increase business opportunities."
The Ubika report points out that IAGM has just released the SoFit app in the Apple App Store and Android market places such as Google Play, and is targeting an active user base of one million within 12 months. To achieve this target, the report points out that IAGM is using effective marketing tools such as sponsorships and partnership with athletic and celebrity events and charities.
To commercialize its app, IAGM engaged the services of Xtreme Labs Inc., says the Ubika report. Xtreme Labs is a full service mobile development agency with experience in designing and building apps for many well-known names. Xtreme Labs will help the Company complete the full launch of SoFit app during the London Olympics towards the end of July as part of a partnership that SoFit has signed with the U.S. State Department's Walk a Mile initiative.
"The engagement (with the State Department) gives SoFit the right to use the 'Olympic Truce' and 'London Inspire' logos to promote the app and co-brand it with the 'Walk a Mile' campaign," says Ranjan. "The signing of this engagement puts the Company in the limelight, and provides the same access as the State Department and the Olympics Committee have, to all celebrities and other prominent figures."
The Company has also signed deals with the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon, Sporting Life 10k, and SickKids 5k.
In addition, The Company is actively pursuing market up-listing process to become a fully reporting and SEC-compliant company on the OTCBB.
The SoFit app falls under a category known as a "socially disruptive app." The term 'socially disruptive technologies' is used to describe innovations that improve a product or service in ways that the market does not expect, typically first by designing for a different set of consumers and later by lowering prices in the existing market, the report says.
