Tech Mahindra to Develop and Deliver New SIP Applications Built On Ubiquity SIP A/S

BARCELONA, SPAIN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 14, 2007 -- 3GSM World Congress -- Ubiquity Software (LSE: UBQ) today announced a new application development relationship with Tech Mahindra, a leading provider of IT solutions and services to the telecommunications industry and India's eighth largest software company.

Ubiquity and Tech Mahindra have teamed on the development and delivery of solutions based on Ubiquity's award-winning SIP Application Server ("SIP A/S") and SIP SOA development framework products. Through this relationship Ubiquity gains a world-class development partner committed to the delivery of converged applications.

As an active member of the Ubiquity Developer Network (UDN), Tech Mahindra has already demonstrated a competency in SIP-based application development. To showcase their capabilities, Tech Mahindra has developed a series of prototype applications that leverage the Ubiquity SIP platform. One such application, called "Automatic Call Back," will be showcased at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona in Ubiquity's Hospitality Suite 3.1HS197, located on the Gallery level accessed from Hall 1. The application, which supports both wireless and wireline users, combines Microsoft Connected Services Framework and Microsoft Exchange Server with the Ubiquity SIP Application Server and new SIP A/S Gateway to automatically connect two parties by scheduling and initiating a call at a convenient time.
