UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education Announces 40-Year Milestone of Paralegal Certificate Program; Offers Compressed Schedule for Winter and Spring Quarters

Compressed Schedule Enables Students to Complete Curriculum in Three Months


IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 17, 2016) - The University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education is proud to announce the 40th anniversary of its Paralegal Certificate Program, which provides students an educational foundation to become an ethical, professional, and effective member of a legal services delivery team. The American Bar Association approved program celebrates 40 years of practice-based quality education and meets the most rigorous standards set for paralegal training.

To meet growing demand, available for the first time, the Paralegal Certificate Program - Compressed Schedule is now offered during winter quarter 2017. This will allow students to complete the entire program during the daytime in one quarter. The on-campus full-day winter courses run from January 3 to March 30, 2017, and the summer courses will begin in June with exact dates to be determined. Winter quarter registration is now open.

UCI Division of Continuing Education has a long history of delivering top-notch paralegal training with courses and curriculum designed by an esteemed advisory board consisting of attorneys, judges and paralegals. The Paralegal Certificate Program offers a balance of workplace applicable skills and legal theory. Concepts and practical skills are taught and reinforced utilizing case studies, lectures, class discussions, group exercises, assignments and guest speakers.
