Ucore Commences Drilling Lost Pond

HALIFAX, NS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 19, 2007 -- Ucore Uranium Inc. (TSX-V: UCU) ("Ucore" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that it has commenced drilling on the Lost Pond project in western Newfoundland. The drill program is budgeted for an initial 1,100 meters and will target the uranium-hematite mineralization partially defined in the trenching program completed in December 2006 and announced in a press release dated January 19, 2007. There are seven holes planned for the U-2 area three holes planned for the U-3 area.

The Company's Qualified Person ("QP") is Wayne Reid, P.Geo. As the QP, he has prepared or reviewed the technical information for this release. Wayne Reid is the Vice President of Exploration for Ucore Uranium Inc.
