Ucore Engages Investor Relations Firm

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 18, 2013) - Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:UCU) (OTCQX:UURAF) ("Ucore" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Star Finance GmbH ("Star"), an investor relations firm from Switzerland ("Star Finance") to assist with its investor relations activities.

In consideration of the services to be provided, the Company has agreed to pay Star EUR9,000 per quarter for an initial period of one year. In addition, the Company has agreed to grant to Star incentive stock options to purchase up to 300,000 shares of the company at $0.28 per share for 5 years.
