ALEXANDRIA, VA--(Marketwire - Dec 6, 2012) - UIC Technical Services, LLC (UICTS), a government services company who, through its Bowhead family of companies, specializes in information technology, program management, logistics and risk management, announced that it has been selected to receive one of Inc. Magazine's inaugural Hire Power Awards.
UICTS and the Bowhead family of companies were selected for the Hire Power Award for being a top job creator in the country based on hiring over the past three years when compared to similar companies within its industry and within its home state. UICTS was ranked #7 in the Government Services Industry category and #6 in the State of Virginia.
In accepting the award, UIC Technical Services CEO Gerrie L'Heureux stated, "Teamwork is written within our mission statement and as a company we work very hard to ensure that we have the right team in place to service our customers and that we take care of our employees. This is not the first time that UIC Technical Services has been recognized by the publication. Earlier in the year, UICTS was included in Inc. Magazine's Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies. The company also was included in the list in 2010.
