UltraCell CTO to Present at 218th ECS Meeting

LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwire - October 5, 2010) -  UltraCell Corporation, a leading producer of portable fuel cells, today announced that CTO Ian Kaye will present at the American Chemical Society's ECS (Electrochemical Society) Meeting to be held October 10-15 in Las Vegas. Mr. Kaye will lead a talk within the Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells track on Monday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m.

The discussion, titled "Understanding the Impact of Dynamic Operating Conditions on High-Temperature PEFC Systems," will focus on the operation of High Temperature Membrane Electrode Assemblies (HTMEA) used in Reformed Methanol Fuel Cell (RMFC) based systems. Mr. Kaye will highlight the differences in both lab and field environments, and describe the impact these differences have on the HTMEA performance.

"UltraCell looks forward to participating in conferences and events like the ECS Meeting, where system and component manufacturers gather to exchange ideas and discuss advancing technology," said Kaye.
