As a senior executive, he has worked at the forefront of applying mobile and digital data analytics to the marketing efforts of major global brands and media companies such as the NBA's Phoenix Suns, 21st Century Fox, Proctor & Gamble, WPP, Clear Channel, Panera Bread, AEG, and CBS Outdoor. In this new role, Mr. McNamara will apply the breadth of his experience to the oversight of Umbel's strategic revenue initiatives and business development blueprint, activating new sales channels and expanding the company's presence across the United States and Europe.

Mr. McNamara brings 15 years of sales experience combining the art of marketing with the science of data to build stronger engagements between brands and consumers across mobile, digital and traditional media. Prior to joining Umbel, he led data commercialization efforts in various roles, including serving as Head of Sales for Verizon's Precision Market Insights, Commercial Director on the founding team, which conceived and launched O2 Media across the U.K. and Europe for Telefonica Digital. He was Director of Mobile Ad Sales at Sprint overseeing the first U.S. carrier mobile advertising sales team and was Vice President of Digital Strategy for Harte Hanks. He has also served as a Non Executive Director on the Advisory board of BWG Strategy, Techertain, OnBuzz, and Southern Stars.
