UNC Fertility Hosts Spring Open House for Hopeful Parents-to-Be

Meet the Docs, Fertility Education and Giveaways on April 30, 2014

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwired - April 16, 2014) - UNC Fertility invites anyone in the Raleigh-Durham area interested in understanding their family-building options to their Spring Open House on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6-8pm. There is no cost to attend and first-time guests will receive up to $150 towards future services at UNC Fertility. The event will take place in their Raleigh office.

"We understand how intimidating it can be to seek fertility assistance. Our hope is that, by hosting an informal Open House, men and women will feel more comfortable making that next step," explains Jennifer Mersereau, MD, who is Medical Director at UNC Fertility. "We want to demystify the process, let couples know that there is a caring team here to guide them along their path, and that it may not be as expensive as they fear."

During the Open House, attendees will get to:

  • Meet the physician team
  • Tour UNC Fertility's new facility
  • Speak with a financial counselor
  • Receive an easy-to-understand overview of general infertility
  • Discuss male infertility concerns with a urologist
  • Learn about IVF and IUI as well as adoption options

Drawings will be held throughout the evening, including $1,000 worth of infertility treatments as well as gift cards to local merchants.

"Our goal is the same as every patient who walks through our doors: to help them become a parent as quickly as possible. We have a terrific team whose success rates tell the story of our commitment to building families. We look forward to helping even more men and women realize their dreams of parenthood," concludes Dr. Mersereau.
