(NASDAQ: UNXL), a provider of Performance Engineered Films to the touch screen, flexible printed electronics, lighting and display markets, announced today that it has closed its previously-announced underwritten public offering of 1,195,000 common shares, and the exercise of the over-allotment option to purchase an additional 179,250 common shares, at a price to the public of $32.00 per share for gross proceeds to the company of $44.0 million. Uni-Pixel intends to use the proceeds from the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Cowen and Company, LLC and Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
