Unica Continues Momentum as Ninth Annual Marketing Innovation Summit Commences

New Social Media Marketing Capabilities, Recent Acquisitions, and a Tremendous Roster of Customers at Annual Conference Highlight Exciting Times for Marketing Software Leader

WALTHAM, MA and ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwire - May 17, 2010) -  Unica Marketing Innovation Summit - Unica Corporation (NASDAQ: UNCA), the recognized leader in marketing software solutions, today officially kicked off its user conference, the Marketing Innovation Summit (MIS). MIS brings together hundreds of marketers from around the world to share and learn about the latest marketing trends, best practices, and marketing technology innovations. MIS features more than 70 breakout sessions, hands-on workshops, product demonstrations, best practices, and more.

One of the highlights of MIS is the Marketing Success Awards (MSA). The Marketing Success Award recognizes Unica customers that have achieved significant business and marketing performance improvements. This year's finalists include Boots the Chemist, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and NRCCUA.

Leading up to MIS, Unica announced the launch of several new product releases and exciting features and capabilities, which will be showcased at the conference. Unica also released new versions of the Unica Enterprise suite and Unica NetInsight OnDemand.
