Uniloc Continues Commercialization Success

LUXEMBOURG--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2016) - Uniloc Luxembourg S.A. ("Uniloc") is pleased to congratulate Cryptosoft Ltd in its acquisition of Device Authority Inc. According to today's press release by the combining companies, the transaction closed today and the combined business will operate under the Device Authority name with a strong presence in Europe, Silicon Valley and the East Coast of the United States.

"Uniloc co-founded Device Authority in late 2013. Uniloc's award-winning device identification and security technologies, together with the financial investment and visionary leadership provided by the co-founders, has culminated in the development of industry-leading commercial products by the Device Authority team. These products provide the necessary tools to secure and support the expected dramatic growth of the Internet of Things (IoT)," said Craig Etchegoyen, CEO and co-founder of Uniloc. He added, "Cryptosoft's well-established position as thought and services leader for connected IoT and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) devices became an obvious value play in establishing a platform to deliver the best products and the best services to this burgeoning industry. We are fully confident that Cryptosoft's added leadership will take Device Authority to the next level."

Beginning with an initial partnership with IBM in the 1990's, Uniloc's foundational patent of device recognition and its initial successful commercial partnership with IBM provided the basis for a broad development of security-based technologies and patents. This also included licensing and the vigorous enforcement of intellectual property rights. Uniloc's active and robust R&D initiatives have built on this expertise in the development of additional key foundational patent technologies and products in multiple present and developing market areas. Uniloc will continue to undertake enforcement campaigns to protect its intellectual property rights worldwide.
