Union Dental and Drinkable Air Establish Testing Procedures for the Green Ozonator to Present to the ADA

CORAL SPRINGS, FL--(Marketwired - July 23, 2014) - Union Dental Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: UDHI) www.uniondental.com/ir -- a provider of multi-state dental services for union members, announced today as a part of its Joint Venture Agreement with Drinkable Air (DA) that the testing procedures have been established and the companies are working with a Nationally Certified Water Testing Lab to certify the results. The prototype Green Ozonator that was produced by Drinkable Air has been working flawlessly in Union Dental's facility. The next step was to develop a rigorous testing program and certify the results. All testing will be completed by mid-August 2014.

The tests will mirror the procedures prepared for use in a dental operatory and the water will be tested every hour and sent to the lab for certification. This will give the Joint Venture the data necessary to send out to all of the Dental and Regulatory agencies that Dr. Green has met with and provided information of the Green Ozonator as a solution to contamination in the dental water lines.

OSHA recently discussed the problems of bacteria in the dental water lines and stated in the article, "This case emphasizes the life-and-death importance of implementing -- and monitoring -- effective infection control protocols for cleaning and maintaining dental waterlines." To minimize this potential source of contamination, waterlines must be aseptically maintained with the same thoroughness as other aspects of the dental operatory." (see article on-line at http://www.oshafordentistry.com/recent-death-from-contaminated-dental-waterlines-demonstrates-life-death-importance-of-monitoring-water-quality) Action for this epidemic has been called for by the CDC, ADA, and the FDA all of whom will receive the test results.

The dental application is a natural extension of the Drinkable Air product line by introducing ozone into the water supplied. Ozone has long been used as an effective water disinfectant and this product addresses concerns that have developed over bacterial contamination of the water lines used in areas such as dental operatories.

Dr. George Green, CEO of UDHI stated: "Drinkable Air and their engineer Kevin Noonan did a great job with the new prototype. It works flawlessly and the new design is attractive and easy to use. We have worked together to establish the testing procedures as the final step before marketing the product. I will take this certified data and reconvene with the State of Florida Department of Health, all of the State Senators the ADA and the CDC."

Steve Kairis, President and CEO of Drinkable Air stated, "After spending a majority of my career in the Healthcare industry, I continue to enjoy working with Union Dental and Dr. Green under the terms of our Joint Venture Agreement for the Green Ozonator, the Dental distribution of the Chameleon 8 and exploring other avenues that are mutually beneficial to both companies. I have always believed that an additional use of Drinkable Air's technology ozone technology is perfect in both the medical and dental industries as well as providing water where there is none."
