Uniserve Professional Services Division Poised for Growth

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 11, 2007) - Uniserve Communications Corporation (TSX VENTURE:USS), one of Canada's largest independent communications companies, announced in February 2007 its intent to enter the Professional Services business sector. The integration of the new Professional Services Division is now complete and Uniserve Communications Corp. is pleased to introduce this comprehensive service to existing and future partners.

The addition of Managed IT services, a fully redundant, state of the art collocation facility and application development capabilities have definitely increased Uniserve's appeal to Small and Medium size enterprises (SME). "In retrospect, the timing could not have been better" says John Vickerstaff, Vice President and General Manager of the Professional Services division. "By adding the resources of Uniserve Communications to the "Managed IT space", we have been able to develop best in class solutions and facilities in a very short time frame. Many existing collocation facilities in the Lower Mainland are at or near capacity and we were able to deliver one of the most robust facilities in the market by building off the former BC Rail location".

In addition to maintaining a customer base including many high profile "born in B.C." organizations like Earls Restaurants, Cactus Club Restaurants, B.A. Blacktop, Nature's Path Foods, Kelsan Technologies and Great Panther Resources, Uniserve has added Equirex Leasing, Avcorp Industries Inc., The City of Campbell River and most recently, Ryder Eyewear and Candente Resource Corp. to its growing list of customers over the past quarter. "We have been fortunate to have had the ability to build this business with a focus on providing sustainable, scaleable solutions" added Vickerstaff, "this focus allows us to provide expert service and maintain the personal contact that clients value."

Avcorp Industries Inc. is a BC-based company that designs and builds major airframe structures for some of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers. Avcorp's plant is located on several acres in Delta, BC that was lacking core infrastructure from the incumbent telecommunications providers. "When we approached Uniserve Professional Services we had a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuance Plan, without the infrastructure and Internet connection required to achieve our goal. We needed a partner to provide the solutions, in an area where we do not have an expertise; we found that expertise in Ian Lalonde, Business Development Manager, for Uniserve Professional Services." said Petr Tyutkov, IT Supervisor for Avcorp. "We received detailed documentation from Ian and his personal commitment that the project would be delivered on time and on budget. Uniserve is not only managing the fibre build to our location, which will be completed early in 2008, they are deploying new technology through bonding existing connectivity to providing us an interim solution that meets our immediate needs. We look forward to growing this relationship." added Tyutkov.
