UNIT4 to Exhibit at EDUCAUSE 2013 Annual Conference, Oct. 15-18, to Showcase New Enterprise Solution, UNIT4 Campus

VICTORIA, BC and MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2013) - UNIT4, the global leader in software that supports business change, will exhibit at the EDUCAUSE 2013 Annual Conference to showcase UNIT4 Campus, a global enterprise software solution for education and research intensive institutions.

Plans for UNIT4 Campus were announced last month, and the solution is receiving significant interest from the sector. With more than 400 education and research institution customers, including Oxford University, Cambridge University, Royal Roads University, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and Harvard Law School, UNIT4 has deep education experience on which to base its product development. UNIT4's enterprise software addresses the daily activities of faculty, administrators and students -- and has helped the company establish a track record of helping its education customers successfully deploy new technology.

At EDUCAUSE Booth #111 at the Anaheim Convention Center, UNIT4 will discuss its technology, approach and insights, having increased its focus and investment in the education sector at a time when academic institutions are experiencing significant change. UNIT4 Campus delivers a sector-specific enterprise software solution to help institutions manage the challenges associated with globalization, modernization and increased competition.

"Too many institutions today are struggling with education software that is monolithic, inflexible and outdated. UNIT4 Campus offers a fresh alternative -- an end-to-end solution that can be implemented process by process, is easy to change and focused around the student, researcher and faculty member. Hence our tagline at EDUCAUSE: 'Ready for Change,'" said David Turner, Group Marketing Director, UNIT4.

UNIT4 Campus & Agresso Research Costing and Pricing
UNIT4 has developed a global education product known as UNIT4 Campus which will be unveiled at EDUCAUSE. It is the only software and services solution with post-implementation agility, allowing education and research institutions to respond effectively to the global marketplace. UNIT4 Campus will leverage the unique change capabilities of UNIT4 Agresso.

In addition to UNIT4 Agresso Finance, HR & Payroll, Project Management and Procurement Management, the first new deliverable is Agresso Research Costing and Pricing, designed in partnership with the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, to help organizations manage the cost and pricing associated with research grant applications. Agresso Research Costing and Pricing enables them to produce accurate cost estimations and agreement on appropriate prices for grant applications for even the largest, most diverse or fast-changing national and international establishments.

"Like our other customers, the speed of change affecting academic institutions is increasing so we're designing UNIT4 Campus to address current and future needs. Increasingly, education and research institutions operate on an international stage. Maintaining quality, competitiveness and satisfaction while competing globally requires modern and agile software," said Rob Sparks, VP Product Management and Strategy for Education and Research, UNIT4. "With UNIT4 Campus, our aim is to focus and develop a single institution-wide solution designed to effectively manage change, while helping academic institutions be ready for change to come."

Available through flexible service delivery, including the cloud, and optimized for shared services environments, UNIT4 Campus can be implemented in stages, linking via web services to existing legacy systems until they are replaced.

David Turner and Rob Sparks will present an exclusive online session at the EDUCAUSE Virtual Annual Conference, October 16th at 12:45pm PDT detailing key change drivers for the sector and how institutions should respond to them.
