VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 11, 2014) - United Hunter Oil and Gas Corp. (TSX VENTURE:UHO) ("UHO"). United Hunter Oil and Gas Corp. (the "Corporation") announces the departure of William (Bill) R. Smith as the Corporation's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Smith continues to serve as a director of the Corporation.

Concurrently, the Corporation also announces the appointment of Mr. Jeff Ratcliffe as Chief Financial Officer, effective February 6, 2014. Mr. Ratcliffe has over seven year's professional experience serving as a certified accountant and Chief Financial Officer/Controller in the global resource sector focused primarily on the oil and gas industry. He received his Certified General Accountant designation in May of 2013.
