United States Represented in "Future House" International Sustainable Community in Beijing, China for 2008 Olympics

MOLINE, IL--(CCNMatthews - December 06, 2006) - Alternative Energy Living Foundation (AEL), a nonprofit organization dedicated to education, research and awareness, has accepted the invitation to participate and represent the United States in an International Sustainable Energy Community located in Beijing, China in anticipation of the 2008 Olympics. These particular games are being referred to as the "Green Olympics." Contract signing took place in Beijing on October 26, 2006, with building initiation to begin in January 2007. AEL will join together with academic sponsor Florida International University in order to showcase the best of U.S. sustainable energy solutions.

In order to address their role as the second largest greenhouse gas emitter in the world, China's Ministry of Construction, PRC, commissioned a demonstration project titled "Future House," which will showcase the most advanced global sustainable energy building practices that address their burgeoning energy crisis. As the first worldwide international sustainable energy community, Future House is breaking ground by uniting countries from around the world in the common goal of environmental responsibility and ecological forethought. Throughout the year prior, during, and six years after the Olympics, Future House will be available for public and private tours. The Future House project, located just a few kilometers from the Olympic Stadium, projects 3 to 5 million Future House visitors during the Olympic Games alone. The introduction of "Future House" will be announced to the media, diplomatic leaders and international embassies at the kick off of the Olympic Games at China's Congress Hall located within the historical Tiananmen Square.

Future House Demonstration project consists of homes and products provided from such countries as Germany, China, Japan, Sweden, South Korea, Spain, and the United States, each building a home to represent their country's most advanced sustainable energy solutions. The Future House community showcases a shopping mall and corporate center in addition to the individual structures, which will provide a retail outlet for the sustainable products featured in the homes.

George Bialecki, Jr., Founder and Director of Alternative Energy Living, noted, "It is a great honor to be invited to travel halfway across the World to represent the United States in this international community before the 2008 Olympics. We are grateful to the Chinese Ministry of Construction and the Future House Real Estate Company for their gracious invitation and the opportunity to represent the best of sustainable energy solutions. We hope 'Future House' will be just the beginning for people to understand that, in the end, we are still ONE World that breathes the same air and drinks the same water. We must work together in a global collaborated effort to preserve these natural resources."

Alternative Energy Living is excited to introduce "Home Biology 101™," in which integrated and affordable building practices offer both consumer and environmental benefits. "Home Biology 101 is a practice in which we consider that, like a living organism, a home breathes, absorbs environmental elements and produces waste. If we scrutinize and respect every detail, from the road to the roof, homeowners will take comfort in knowing their home is healthier, preserves the environment, and offers a richer quality of life for themselves, all while being easier on the budget," notes Mr. Bialecki.

Home Biology 101's™ five-tier approach considers energy efficiency, indoor air quality, storm water management and pollution, reducing municipal water consumption and recycling management. Mr. Bialecki states that if we consolidate all of the home's sustainable energy considerations into one whole-home approach, it will simplify the process and allow for a manageable, environmentally responsible solution.

Most importantly, the homeowner will have a healthier home with reduced energy costs of up to 85%, all while being gentler on our environment, at or below the cost of conventional construction.

Alternative Energy Living hopes to contribute to China's great effort to reduce waste, preserve its resources, and contribute to the global effort to invest in sustainable energy solutions.
