LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 3, 2012) - United Way and the Ad Council selected HelpsGood, a leading social media agency, to develop and implement strategies in support of their LIVE UNITED campaign. The campaign's focus is to mobilize communities to give, advocate and volunteer to improve the building blocks of a good life and advance the common good. Launched in 2008, LIVE UNITED inspires and encourages people to partner with United Way by becoming more involved in their own communities. The campaign focuses on education, income, and health.
HelpsGood will develop an overarching strategy for the campaign across United Way Worldwide. Collaborating with the Ad Council, HelpsGood will outreach to bloggers, grow United Way's social networks and create a social media toolkit for ongoing implementation.
