The winner is one of many students who participated in the launch of, their university's new social networking website.

This week sees the nationwide launch of Unitopia's University Portals, with a website dedicated to each of over 50 universities in Canada. Links to each school's Unitopia website can be found at Membership is open to students and faculty at the university, while the gifts and giveaways are just for the students. The pilot project has been able to award free gifts from local business to participating students every week since it launched 6 weeks ago.

Unitopia gives every student a single place to connect with their peers online. Whether it's to discuss their studies with fellow students and classmates, make new friends, or just stay up to date on all things school related, there is virtual student space available for it.

Unitopia will continue to do its part to assist Canada's perpetually impoverished students. The prize giveaways and contests will continue for all the schools as further sponsorship partners are arranged. Unitopia is a student run community building project of University Connects.
