Company Shows Off New Enhanced Models of Air to Water Machines

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 19, 2006 -- Universal Communication Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: UCSY) (BERLIN: UVC) (XETRA: UVC) (FRANKFURT: UVC) (MNCH: UVC) (WKN: 917633) subsidiaries Air Water Corporation and Atmospheric Water Technologies, Inc. company chairman Michael Zwebner announced today: "Our Company's business has again made history with our first major exhibition of our large range of new and upgraded Air to Water machines and systems, at the Africa Aerospace & Defense 2006 -- September 20-24, 2006. We share the floor with other large manufacturers of all types of military aircraft, helicopters, and all types of machines and systems; but we are unique in that our Air to Water products are both military enhancing and in some cases lifesaving. We expect to do good solid business at this event."

The exhibition, the largest of its kind based in Africa, opens tomorrow September 20th, and will conclude on September 24th.

WaterMaker Africa is displaying models of the AW 40, AW 120, AW 250, and the AW 1000M. In addition, the company is displaying its Water Bagging Machine, capable of making and filling thousands of small water bags for all types of emergency situations.
