Universal Detection Technology Receives Purchase Order for Anthrax Detection Kits During Building Security Seminar in Washington, DC

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 30, 2007 -- Universal Detection Technology ( (OTCBB: UDTT), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and provider of counter-terrorism products and services, announced that it has received a purchase order for anthrax detection kits during Company's training seminar in Washington, DC.

The DC seminar offered training on building safety and security and was hosted by UDTT and Security Solutions International (SSI).
