Universal Detection Technology Receives Second Purchase Order for Company's Anthrax Test Kits

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 23, 2007 -- Universal Detection Technology ( (OTCBB: UDTT), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism, announced today that it has received a purchase order for anthrax detection strips from Security Solutions International (SSI). SSI is one of UDTT's strategic partners and a provider of leading counter-terrorism and security training for security and practical applications.
