Universal Ice Blast Announces Follow-Up Order From German Customer

KIRKLAND, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 12, 2005 -- Universal Ice Blast, Inc. (OTC: UIBT) -- Following the March 2005 delivery of a production line SX110 ice blast machine and its success in reducing operating costs for its German customer, the Company was rewarded with a follow-up order for a second SX110 ice blast machine in April 2005; delivery is planned for summer 2005.

"This second machine from an existing client validates our technology and shows that our Licensing strategy we implemented in 2004 is working as planned. The effects of our marketing campaign in September 2004 in Germany underscores Europe's quick acceptance of a new technology with strong environmental attributes. We will continue to market our technology to the industrial and automotive sectors, emphasizing our success on cleaning and deburring of steel and aluminum components, buoyed up by our recent successes here in the U.S." says Rory Clarke, Chairman and CEO.

The Company's ice blast equipment, conceived and designed in the U.S., is now being built by its Dutch licensee for clients in Europe. "This will be the third machine our licensee will build for the European markets; major components are sourced locally and customer repairs and maintenance are locally supported, a contributing factor to our recent success," says Clarke.
