UNIVERSAL PEACE PLAN and DePAUL UNIVERSITY Announce the Premiere Global Online PEACE SUMMIT

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - April 30, 2008) - UNIVERSAL PEACE PLAN, UPP and DePAUL UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL PEACE STUDIES AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION PROGRAM join forces to present an exciting debate featuring prominent experts and scholars who engage the vast internet community over issues of international significance.

"ON MAKING PEACE" launches Thursday, May 1st, 2:00 pm Central time at www.upp.org with UPP SUMMIT'S multi-faith panel taking on the hot topic of religious co-existence. "ON MAKING PEACE" promises to be a stimulating exchange of Christian, Muslim and Jewish perspectives. Representing the three faiths are Dr. Mary Jeanne Larrabee from DePAUL University Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution Program, Imam Senad Agic, Ph.D., D.Min. of the Islamic Cultural Center of Greater Chicago, and Rabbi David Sandmel, Ph.D. of K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Congregation. Jason Renken from the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs will moderate.

UPP and DePAUL are proud to host this precedent-setting interactive global conference with the goal of raising awareness for vital social issues.
