University of Maryland University College Picks Clicktools to Collect and Measure Student Feedback

Integration With CRM, Visibility Into Student Satisfaction Gives University Ability to Understand Experiences and Act Quickly to Improve Them

DUBLIN, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 9, 2015) - University of Maryland University College (UMUC), as part of an ongoing effort to enhance the student experience, has selected Clicktools by CallidusCloud to receive feedback, analyze and share data, and uncover hidden insights that will allow the university to enhance its services.

Having a feedback platform integrated with its CRM platform will allow UMUC to gain a better understanding of student satisfaction, helping to increase student retention rates by identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Clicktools, part of the Lead to Money suite from Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ: CALD), a global leader in cloud-based sales, marketing, learning and customer experience solutions, enables UMUC to capture insights across the student journey -- from application to graduation -- allowing the university to easily identify and act on data in real time.

UMUC cited Clicktools' expertise with CRM integration as a factor in its selection of a survey platform. Past efforts to obtain feedback required manual administration of surveys within separate departments. With this integration, the university can close the loop by managing resolution of issues in CRM and taking advantage of the deep integration with CRM, further improving the customer experience.

"This is a significant step forward that will make it far easier and faster for us to identify valuable insights to improve the experience of our students," said Brian Gnatt, assistant vice president of customer experience at UMUC. "Clicktools will provide us with a better platform for listening and responding to our students to understand where opportunities exist to enhance interactions with our students. The integration with our CRM platform will make feedback more actionable so we can deliver even greater value to our students."

"The university's enthusiasm for understanding student's experiences shows that 'customer experience' extends well beyond the traditional buyer-seller relationship," said Rory Cameron, executive vice president, corporate development, learning and marketing platforms at CallidusCloud. "Clicktools is vital to providing visibility into the experiences of any constituency served by an organization, and the integration with CRM helps translate insights into actions."
