Univest Grand Prix Headlines Day of Cycling and Community Events, Souderton & Lansdale, September 8

Thousands of Spectators Expected to Line Race Course for America's Pro Classic; Children's Races and Community Festival Will Also Draw Crowd

SOUDERTON, PA--(Marketwire - September 6, 2007) - Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania (NASDAQ: UVSP)

WHAT:       The 10th annual Univest Grand Prix kicks off this Saturday with
            the men's pro 107.3-mile road race starting on Main Street in
            Souderton. Spectators can follow the race live on a JumboTron
            TV near the start/finish. A press conference will follow the
            conclusion of awards and will be held near the awards podium.

            Other activities include a high school bicycle race and
            children's bicycle sprints, on Main Street in Souderton. The
            high school races -- boys and girls categories, ages 14-15 and
            16-18 -- will be held on a 0.9-mile-long circuit in downtown
            Souderton. Each race is 11 laps, or 10 miles. The children's
            sprints, sponsored by the Indian Valley Family YMCA, are for
            kids as young as 3 years old (on Big Wheels and tricycles) up
            to age 13. The North Penn Boys & Girls Club is sponsoring
            children's races in Lansdale. Other activities in Lansdale
            include an obstacle course, community vendors, and face
            painting.

            The Cyclosportif, a 100-kilometer recreational ride that starts
            and finishes on Main Street in Souderton, is being led by 2006
            Tour de France winner Floyd Landis. Mr. Landis will be
            available to meet the media after the finish of the
            Cyclosportif and will remain in Souderton until after the
            conclusion of the men's pro road race.

              -8 a.m.: Cyclosportif recreational ride starts, ends
               approximately 11 a.m.
              -9 a.m.: High school bicycle races, awards at 10:10 a.m.
              -10 a.m.: Children's races in Lansdale.
              -10:30 a.m.: Men's pro road race, ends approximately 3 p.m.
              -11 a.m.: Children's bicycle sprint races, ends at 12:30 p.m.
