UPDATE: Aplix Enables HomeKit on Home and Office Appliances With World's First-Ever HomeKit-Compatible Bluetooth Low Energy Module

TOKYO, JAPAN--(Marketwired - January 06, 2015) - Aplix, a leader in Bluetooth Low Energy technology, today announced the world's first-ever HomeKit-compatible Bluetooth Low Energy module designed for low cost home and office appliances.

The HomeKit-compatible Bluetooth Low Energy module from Aplix enables all HomeKit features, such as setting up of the device, control of access permissions per users, batch control of multiple devices, timer configuration, and Siri-powered voice control. Applications can be developed using the latest development environment from Apple.

Aplix's HomeKit-compatible Bluetooth Low Energy module interacts wirelessly with Apple devices through a Bluetooth-powered iOS application developed by Aplix and can interact with other HomeKit applications.
