Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the leading open source cloud native application platform, today is announcing the program, sessions and keynotes for the Cloud Foundry Summit. The Summit takes place May 11-12, 2015 in Santa Clara, Calif at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

Cloud Foundry is the leading Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) open source project and is experiencing significant increases in community contributions and user and vendor investments. Cloud Foundry Summit 2015 is bringing together more than 1500 application developers, IT operations experts, technical managers, business leaders, service providers and project contributors in an independent forum to accelerate and advance the Cloud Foundry open source project and help the community set its agenda for the year.

  • Sam Ramji, the Cloud Foundry Foundation CEO, will present "Steampunk Meets Cyberpunk: The Makings of a Cloud Native Application Platform."
  • Andy Weir, programmer, space nerd and novelist, whose book "The Martian" is currently being made into a movie, will share "How I Used Open Source Ideology to Make a Bestselling Novel."
  • EMC's Brian Gallagher will present "Not All Clouds are Created Equal."
  • Huawei's Dr. Ying Xiong will share his thoughts on "Communication as a Service with Cloud Foundry."
  • Bill Hilf from HP will present "Apps and Platforms: Enablers for Today's Cloud Native Enterprises."
