Update: Hertz Names LeighAnne Baker Chief Human Resources Officer

PARK RIDGE, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 16, 2007 -- Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HTZ) announced that LeighAnne Baker has been appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. LeighAnne joins Hertz from The Reynolds & Reynolds Company where she served as their Senior Vice President - Global Human Resources. Prior to joining Reynolds & Reynolds in 2005, LeighAnne served for five years as Director of Human Resources, Global Automotive Business, for The Timken Company and, prior to that, for 15 years in a variety of human resource and operational positions of increasing responsibility at Timken, a company with more than 28,000 employees worldwide.

Mark P. Frissora, Hertz's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commenting on Ms. Baker's appointment, said, "We are fortunate to add to our senior team someone with LeighAnne's depth of business and human resources experience, both in the United States and internationally, as we implement structural and organizational changes throughout the Company. Ms. Baker holds an M.S. in Management from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, an M.B.A. from Ashland University and a B.S. in Mathematics from Capitol University.

Hertz was purchased from Ford Motor Company on December 21, 2005 by the private equity investment companies Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, The Carlyle Group and Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity. On November 16, 2006, Hertz's private equity owners commenced an initial public offering of Hertz stock.
