Update on Drilling Programme Reveals High Levels of Commercial Grades of Nickel

Update on Drilling Programme Reveals High Levels of Commercial Grades of Nickel

Teknomining Plc (PLUS-SX: TEKP), the Dublin-headquartered mining and exploration company, is pleased to provide
the Market with the following positive update on the Company's drilling programme.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Independent laboratory testing of sample cores taken from the drilling survey undertaken at its second licence
area (licence Reference No. 200806366) in the province off Diyarbakir, Turkey reveals:

    * high levels of commercial grades of Nickel,
    * minimum inferred resources of Nickel in one of the anomalies located in profile number
4270700 as per January 2011 CFT Engineering IP/ Resistivity and Magnetic Report at 4,961,000 tonnes.
    * the presence of Cobalt, Copper, Chromium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Titanium, and Zinc in all of the
      three drill holes analysed.

Michael Holden, CEO of Teknomining, Plc commented: "The results from the recent drill programme reaffirms the
Board's belief of the existence of high levels of commercial grades of Nickel and the presence of Cobalt, Copper,
Chromium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Titanium, and Zinc at its second Operation mining licence area in the
Province of Diyarbakir, Turkey. This, coupled with the strength of the current price of Nickel ($24,000 per
tonne), provides the Company with an extremely valuable exploration asset.

These remarkable results have been derived from an area of less than 5% of this Operation licence area, and
demonstrates the huge potential of our entire property which includes two Operations licence areas and three
Exploration licence areas covering c. 65sq.km.

Further Exploration Drilling is ongoing, and the Company expects to make further announcements to the Market over
the coming months, regarding ongoing progress."

The Company has commissioned CFT Engineering Ltd. ("CFT Engineering") to supervise the drilling programme on the
Company's second licence (reference number: 200806366) in Diyarbakir, South Eastern region of Turkey, which covers
an area of 3.65 km sq. Independent laboratory testing of sample cores taken from the drilling survey has been
carried out by OMAC laboratories Ltd ("OMAC") revealing high levels of commercial grades of Nickel and the
presence of Cobalt, Copper, Chromium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Titanium, and Zinc.

CFT Engineering's Regulatory Drilling Statement addressed to the Company indicates minimum reserves of Nickel in
one of the anomalies located in profile number 4270700 at 4,961,000 tonnes.

A total of 59 core samples were taken at the first drill hole (drilling reference hole: KLP01-1) at a depth of
67metres and at one metre intervals and sent to OMAC for independent analysis. The analysis report showed high
levels of commercial grades of Nickel (Ni) at all levels and also containing Cobalt (Co), Copper (Cu), Chromium
(Cr), Iron (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mg), Titanium (Ti), and Zinc (Zn).

The second drill hole (drilling reference hole: KLP01-2) was located in the same location as the first drill hole
KLP01-1 and was completed to a depth of 282 metres at a planned orientation of 45 degrees increasing to 50
degrees. Core samples taken at ten meter intervals were sent to OMAC for analysis. The analysis report showed high
levels of commercial grades of Nickel at all levels and also contained Cobalt, Copper, Chromium, Iron, Magnesium,
Manganese, Titanium, and Zinc.

Core samples were taken from the third drill hole (drilling reference hole: KLP02-1 - D2), located in the second
licence area and over 1 kilometre from drill holes KLP01-1 and KLP01-2. These samples were taken at ten metre
intervals to a total dept of eighty metre. The analysis report showed high levels of commercial grades of Nickel
at all levels and also contained Cobalt, Copper, Chromium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Titanium, and Zinc.

The directors of the issuer accept responsibility for this announcement.
