UPDATE - Penton's Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific Conference & Exhibition Scheduled for September 27-29, 2016 Singapore

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - August 17, 2016) - Penton's Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific (#MROAP) will be held September 27-29 at the Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre. Exhibition space is now 80 percent sold out based on the tremendous success of MRO Asia-Pacific 2015.

The 2016 show is expected to sell out of exhibition space and surpass 4,000 registered attendees. MRO Asia-Pacific, in partnership with Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) is sponsored by HEICO, StandardAero and UTC Aerospace Systems at the Platinum Level; Pratt & Whitney, Spirit Aerosystems and ST Aero are Gold Sponsors.

Each year, MRO Asia-Pacific attracts attendees from more than 65 countries including China, France, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States. Out of the attendees at the 2015 show, more than 80 percent are involved in the buying process.

Focused on commercial aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), the event is the industry's largest in Asia-Pacific featuring speakers from airlines, OEMs, regulators, suppliers, and service providers.

The keynote speaker will be Andrew Hewitt, Head of Engineering Contracts & Leasing, for Air New Zealand. The Chairman's address will be delivered by Jeffrey Lam, COO of ST Aerospace. The show will feature presentations and interactive sessions on subjects that will help attendees maximize profits, stay on the cutting edge of new technology and overcoming issues most pressing to the MRO industry.

Subjects include: technology revolutionizing MRO, engineering big data for MROs, surplus parts, interiors forecast, managing lease agreements and returns, and emerging markets in Asia Pacific. The show will also feature an MRO financing workshop and a panel discussion from Asia-Pacific's leading low cost carriers. MRO AP will host a co-located track featuring sessions dedicated to aircraft interiors including a forecast and two panel discussions. This track will run concurrently with MRO Asia-Pacific programming and is tailored specifically to professionals in the interiors industry.
