Update: Shine Holdings CEO Featured on

CARY, NC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 16, 2007 -- Shine Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: SHDG) today announced that features an interview with Chief Executive Officer, Brett S. Swailes. The discussion centers upon Shine's patented wastewater odor control system and the company's novel offer to install the system for municipalities and industries without the need for major upfront capital outlay.

The odor control system was developed and patented by Dennis L. Mast and licensed to HydroFlo, Inc. Shine Holdings has entered into a distribution agreement to put the system out to municipal clients.

Swailes explained his reasons for the timing of this interview: "The technology we are talking about here, the PLUS™ system, eradicates the awful hydrogen sulfide odors that most people usually associate with stinky sewage facilities. We accomplish this odor reduction by using a patented process of injecting streams of oxygen into sewage pipelines and force-mains before the sewage itself gets to the main treatment facilities. This highly diffused oxygen creates an aerobic, living environment in the pipelines, which causes the pipeline bacteria to become energized, and start digestion of the effluent right then and there. This is not just a fanciful notion on our parts; sites have already been located and have gone operational in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington State and elsewhere. The offer we are making was initially a proposal by two municipalities in their effort to slice through governmental bureaucratic delay to solve a problem right away. We thought about that, ran the numbers, and subsequently made the decision to fund the idea."
