Peyton got his trophy and even though it was a rainy night in southern Florida, the Super Bowl once again was the hottest event of the year for TV advertisers. Advertisers spent $2.6 million per 30-second spot during the game, leaving the viewers with some lasting images that were not football related.

After two years of monkey business, is giving the pink slip to the infamous chimpanzee stars of its Super Bowl ads. The company unveiled a new campaign with Jungle Inc., a comically savage workplace where only the strong survive.

Super Bowl Sunday retained its mantle as the biggest Sunday for pizza sales. This year, Pizza Hut, America’s Favorite Pizza, reunited two stars -- Jessica Simpson and Cheesy Bites Pizza. Jessica Simpson reprised her role in a Pizza Hut pre-game commercial to celebrate the pizza’s comeback.
