Updated Special Agent Software Gives Insurance Agencies Electronic Access to All Customer Documents, Helps Them Go Paperless

Version 3.3 Also Expands Real-Time Capabilities

HOLBROOK, MA--(Marketwire - September 14, 2010) -  Version 3.3 of Special Agent insurance agency management software, just released by Special Agent, Inc., helps independent agencies go paperless.

Now virtually all electronic documents, including emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, pictures and scanned images, can be attached to customer records. This lets agencies keep each customer's records in one secure, easily accessible place.

"CSRs and agents can call up documents instantly instead of having to get up, go to the filing cabinet, pull the file and put it back later," said Special Agent president Christopher R. Baker.

Instantly accessible electronic files help staff provide better, prompter service. Agencies can discard paper files, save money and free up floor space.

"Now, when you have to retrieve a document, it's much faster and more efficient," said Jim Crowley, president of Holbrook Insurance Agency. "We don't need to buy third-party software. There's a scanner on everyone's desk, and we just scan the document and shred it."

Version 3.3 includes other updates. It now supports the latest ACORD forms for every line of business in every state.

More real-time features and capabilities have been added. Downloading is available for additional lines and additional carriers such as The Hartford, Merchants Mutual and Progressive.

Special Agent provides training, website services and prompt expert technical support.
Special Agent software is used by more than 300 agencies throughout the Northeast.
