Upgrades made to the mountain bike paths in the Laurentides

The Government of Canada supports the community project of the Parc regional Montagne du Diable

Key players in the communities have long been asking for concrete, lasting improvements to the community and recreational infrastructures. The Government of Canada is proud to invest in projects that, like this one by Parc régional Montagne du Diable, contribute to the vitality of the regions throughout the country and make them more dynamic.

Mr. David Graham, MP for Laurentides - Labelle, announced, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, that Parc régional Montagne du Diable has been awarded $84 000 for upgrading its mountain bike paths.

Specifically, the Parc régional Montagne du Diable will upgrade 20 kilometres of travelling surface and add 10 kilometres of single-track paths. The non-repayable contribution awarded under the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program (CIP 150) will enable the park to enhance its services, which will have positive impacts on tourism for the entire region.
