Upper Similkameen Indian Band and Goldcliff Resource Corporation Sign Memorandum of Understanding Agreement

HEDLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 29, 2006) - The Upper Similkameen Indian Band ("USIB") and Goldcliff Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GCN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement ("MOU").

Covering activity within the Upper Similkameen Indian Band's traditional territory ("the Territory"), the MOU is an agreement of co-operation between the Upper Similkameen Indian Band and Goldcliff Resource Corporation.

Goldcliff Resource Corporation's Panorama Ridge Gold Project, Hedley, British Columbia ("the Project") is located within the Upper Similkameen Indian Band's Territory and Goldcliff Resource Corporation recognises the obligation to consult with the USIB on aboriginal interests in regard to the Project.

The MOU agreement provides that the Upper Similkameen Indian Band and Goldcliff Resource Corporation ("the Parties") have committed to meaningful consultation and the exchange of information in the Territory.

The Parties share a desire to develop and maintain a working relationship based on mutual respect and understanding. The Parties are committed to meaningful consultation and the exchange of information.

The Upper Similkameen Indian Band has worked progressively with government, industry and the private sector to develop positive relationships in mining, forestry and tourism in their Territory.

In their Territory, the Upper Similkameen Indian Band operates the Mascot Mine tours at Hedley - a historic gold mine - perched high above the tiny town of Hedley - a world-class gold producer and tourist site with spectacular scenery (www.mascotmine.com). "The Similkameen people gave the area the name Snaza'ist - place of striped rock".

Goldcliff Resource Corporation's Panorama Ridge Gold Project, Hedley, British Columbia is located within the USIB Territory. The Project is just east of the historic gold producer and is a new gold discovery destined to revive the gold mining glory of the district (www.goldcliff.com).
