CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Apr 1, 2014) - Uproar PR, a full-service public relations and social media agency, announces Tory Patrick has been appointed Vice President of the Chicago office. The news comes on the heels of the agency announcing the opening of its Chicago office last month. In her new role, Tory draws on her decade of experience in public relations to provide strategic guidance for both her clients and team members.
"After working with Tory for many years at a previous agency, we know she has the drive and talent to make this new office a huge success. She gets amazing results and clients love her," said Catriona Harris, co-founder and partner of Uproar PR. "Since announcing our office earlier this month we have already hired a team of five professionals that have impressive resumes. We plan to hire 15 more before year end."
With immediate growth expected for the firm's new office, Uproar PR needed a well-rounded executive to step in to get this office up and running, Tory was the ideal candidate. In addition to providing strategic guidance for clients, she is also responsible for the day-to-day operations in Chicago, managing client campaigns and tapping into new emerging markets to target across North America.
"After working with the co-founders, Catriona and Mike Harris, at a previous agency, I am very excited to come on board to manage Uproar PR Chicago," said Patrick. "I've always admired Uproar's combination of an impressive client roster and talented employees that are able to garner top-tier results. I look forward to being a part of this amazing team and working with the best talent that Chicago has to offer."
