Uranium Hunter Initiates Exploration on Tanzania Ruhuhu Uranium Project

TORONTO--(Marketwire - September 13, 2007) - Uranium Hunter Corporation (OTCBB: URHN) ("Uranium Hunter" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has now commenced a preliminary filed exploration program on its Tanzania Ruhuhu Uranium Project. The specific intention of the program is to demonstrate the potential for REDOX style uranium mineralization on the Ruhuhu Project area.

After confirming 10 specific radiometric anomalies on the Ruhuhu Project from the report commissioned by PGW, consulting geophysicists, of Toronto, Uranium Hunter has now moved forward on a specific field investigation of the Basement and Karoo rocks of the Ruhuhu Project area. The specific intention of the program will be to identify uranium in the Basement (uranium source for the Karoo sediments) and to find REDOX type uranium in the Karoo Sediments.

With the success of Paladin's Kaleyekara uranium deposit in Malawi, and the newly announced sandstone uranium discovery in the southwestern region of Tanzania, Mtonya Uranium Project, Uranium Hunter feels the potential for success in the region is quite high. "Management is highly encouraged by the recent findings in southwestern Tanzania, and is working to expand its current program as quickly as possible," commented Uranium Hunter President, Adam Cegielski.

With the current program underway, the company expects their initial geological report to be available to shareholders within the coming weeks. Exploration is now well underway on both of Uranium Hunter's Exploration projects in Uganda and Tanzania.
