Uranium Power Corp. Announces Appointment of Senior Technical Advisor

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 19, 2007) - Uranium Power Corp. ("Uranium Power" "UPC") (TSX VENTURE:UPC) is pleased to announce that it has appointed David H. Scriven, P.E. to the position of Senior Technical Advisor. Dave brings to the company a wealth of experience in mine planning and operations, as well as permitting and regulatory compliance. His input will be vital in plans to move ahead with the Sheep Mountain project in Wyoming. Dave will work out of UPC's Casper, WY office.

Dave graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 1970 with an Engineer of Mines degree and later did graduate work in Mineral Economics. After careers with ASARCO, United Bank of Denver and Mobil Oil Corporation, he launched his consulting business. Mr. Scriven has been an independent consulting engineer for the past 25 years and owns and operates Western States Mining Consultants, P.C. with headquarters in Casper Wyoming. His uranium experience spans over 30 years and includes a variety of projects from project financing to final reclamation as well as contracts with both the WIPP project and the Yucca Mountain project. He has worked on mine design with both underground and surface mining as well as plant design for ISR mining.
